SPD's Message
Setting up of 01 (One) Model Schools at each Block Head Quarter is an important agenda of Odisha Govt. Basically Model Schools will have infrastructure and facilities of the same standard as in Kendriya Vidyalayas with stipulation on Pupil-Teacher ratio, ICT usages, holistic educational environment, appropriate curriculum and emphasis on output and outcome.

Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Salapada was established in the year 2016 in Anandapur municipality of Kendujhar district. The school is well equipped with infrastructure and experienced faculties who are dedicated to the all round development of the students. The students are encouraged to participate in both academic and non-academic activities and have displayed their talent in different fields at District, State & National level competitions. It is co-educational English medium school affiliated to CBSE, Delhi and with Classes VI to XII managed by OAVS, Bhubaneswar under the Department of School and Mass Education, Government of Odisha. In the CBSE board examination held in the year 2019, fourteen students secured above 90 percentage mark. In the same year the school was also awarded the best performing Vidyalaya in Kendujhar district by the District Administration. In the year 2020 the pass percentage of Class-X in CBSE board examination is 100 percentage with unique distinction of 14 students secured 90% and above mark & 05 students secured 95% and above. The Vidyalaya topper of Class-X, Miss Sangita Sanghamitra Nayak secured 97.8% mark and secured 3rd position in the state among OAVs. Further, I would like to extend my thanks to OAVS, team OAV Salapada, Students, Parents, well wishers being awarded as the best Principal of the state on the occasion of Teacher by honourable SPD OAVS and other dignitaries.
