Basically Model Schools will have infrastructure and facilities of the same standard as in Kendriya Vidyalayas with stipulation on Pupil-Teacher ratio, ICT usages, holistic educational environment, appropriate curriculum and emphasis on output and outcome.

On 06 February 2026, our esteemed Principal, Mr. Himansu Kuanar, paid a courtesy visit to the Block Office and met the newly joined Block Development Officer, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Sahu, OAS, who is also the Vice-Chairman of the VMDC.
