SPD's Message
Setting up of 01 (One) Model Schools at each Block Head Quarter is an important agenda of Odisha Govt. Basically Model Schools will have infrastructure and facilities of the same standard as in Kendriya Vidyalayas with stipulation on Pupil-Teacher ratio, ICT usages, holistic educational environment, appropriate curriculum and emphasis on output and outcome.

I feel privileged to welcome all of you to the school’s website. O.A.V. Parajapuki, Dasmantpur was inaugurated on 6th April, 2016 with an aim to cater to the modern English medium educational needs of Dasmantpur. It is situated at the foot hills among serene and scenic atmosphere. From the day of inauguration the vidyalaya witnessed a hearty cooperation of the parents, intellectual, district administration and of aspirated students. I feel myself proud to lead a dedicated team of teachers continuously striving to accomplish the need of the students. We do get motivated by the very motto of the Sangathan “Inspire and Empower”. We believe that education is not just to memorise the chapter and secure marks. It is a continuous process of learning with an aim to empower the society with new skills, vibrant ideas and noble innovation. I strongly believe that the students will definitely become the torch bearer of progress and development. The school aims for the holistic development of the children through the various good practices. We do ensure participation of all the students in various CCA activities, drawing and painting competition and through sports. The school has prepared a calendar of events and activities in the beginning of the session. Participation of all the students in different activities, sports, in Fine arts, performing arts is encouraged through the dedicated staff. Being a novice in the system, we have had to work very hard to realize and prove our potentiality. The remoteness is not a hindrance but a continuous challenge to prove our ability again and again. At last, I like to express my gratitude to the State Project Director, OAVS, Hon’ble Adviser, OAVS, District Magistrate and VMDC chairman, respected district and block officials for extending their constant support in the process of making the institution a grand success.
